This session explored common ways of measuring food waste globally . Based on their work in the field , participants determined that the public is open to considering discussions around food waste and sustainable consumption . Moving forward , it will be important to create a culture of openness and trust in the network where we can learn from our successes and our failures when it comes to tackling food waste .
