240 SERVICE: CHANGE TO LOCAL BUS SERVICE
The 240 bus timetable changed in April, and is shown below. The service has been severely
pruned, (now running on Monday and Thursday only) and for some in the villages who do
not drive, it is a lifeline. Even if you do drive, perhaps you would consider using the bus
occasionally for short shopping trips to Alresford? If a few more people use it, it will help to
keep the service alive, not to mention freeing up some valuable parking spaces in the town.
