We reinvigorated relationships with members of the Italian-Canadian community and other communities served by Villa Charities, and cultivated new relationships. We also demonstrated VCI’s ongoing importance to the community, particularly as it relates to the areas funded by VCF: senior care, education, arts and culture, and greatest needs. FROM THE CHAIR On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Villa Charities Foundation (VCF), I am delighted to present our annual report for 2018. In the pages following, you will find updates on VCF activities and results since our first annual report last year. The Foundation successfully implemented the 2018 priorities outlined in our three- year Strategic Plan. This included an 4 Building corporate event sponsorships was another key focus. Our efforts are now turned to executing VCF’s 2019 strategic priorities. Over 500 people attended the Open House, where community members were invited to enjoy fun and free activities. The Foundation also plans to revitalize the Villa Colombo Toronto Tree of Life fundraising campaign.
