The plan establishes annual priorities through to 2020 with the goal of establishing VCF as the primary funding source for Villa Charities initiatives. looking ahead The Villa Charities Foundation (VCF) is now focused on implementing the 2019 priorities outlined in its three- year Strategic Plan. This follows the successful implementation of the plan’s 2018 priorities. The Strategic Plan, tabled in 2018, was developed to guide the Foundation’s future fundraising success. The plan establishes annual priorities through to 2020 with the goal of establishing VCF as the primary funding source for Villa Charities initiatives. The 2019 priorities include: • Finalizing and disseminating the reasons community members should support Villa Charities, and leveraging those reasons in donor meetings. • Increasing revenues from VCF events by growing corporate sponsorships, individual participation and donations. The Foundation also aims to enhance results from its signature golf and cycling events, and to further expand revenues through new events such as a planned Cena In Famiglia / Family Dinner. It will also continue to increase VCI’s community involvement and build new relationships with community members and potential donors. These efforts are expected to help lay the groundwork for a major upcoming capital campaign for the redevelopment of Villa Colombo Homes for the Aged Inc.
