Carrier Art Gallery in January 2019. The artist’s collection of paintings and drawings, which depict the tragedy of homelessness and his personal connection to this issue was profiled in an interview by Susan Hay on Global News. “ City Builders” Art Exhibition: CBC News, March 23, 2019 Another exhibition, “City Builders: A History of Immigrant Construction Workers in Postwar Toronto,” was the focus of a CBC News feature when it opened at the Columbus Centre in March 2019. Villa Charities partnered with York University and Myseum Intersections 2019 to host the multi-media exhibition, which told the story of thousands of construction workers who built Toronto – most of them newcomers to Canada – and the dangers they faced.
