Teri Rutledge, Fourth Grade Teacher, Receives Distinctions Ms. Rutledge was selected as one of the 2015 Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellows. In June, 2015, she traveled to the Galapagos Islands for a one-of-a-kind field experience expedition where she encountered a variety of wildlife including the marine iguanas of Fernandina Island.
Ms. Rutledge was one of 946 Washington teachers to achieve National Board Certification through a performance-based, peer-review process that is the profession’s gold standard for accomplished teaching.
