This was the longest two weeks of my life
as I was there for 28 years. I started as a
salesperson and was promoted to Store
Manager by October of 1973 and relocated to Kansas City MO. In 1975 I was promoted to traveling Manager and traveled
to replace store managers. In 1978 decided
to come back to Chicago and managed and
open several stores for the next few years
and in 1988 was promoted to Associate Director of Training. I managed and trained
all store personnel for the Midwest region
and in 1992 was promoted to Clothing Director until I resigned in August of 1999. I
accepted a position elsewhere and got into

were calling me to schedule appointments
at their home or office.
I am a member of the (CTDA) Custom Tailors and Designers Association
and have served on their board
of directors on several occasions. Now I am not a tailor by
trade, I am a professional Fitter
by trade. The legendary Martin

tailored clothing in Brooklyn
and we have vendors all over
the world with fabrics from the
best of the best for all the customer’s needs.
To make my business stronger,
a group of investors have put
together a plan to increase my
business but also allow me an
exit strategy so that my legacy
will continue when I decide to
retire.

“sure, no problem”, then asked, “Mayor Pastrick, I am embarrassed as I have no idea
