Turning From The Dark Side

Open your wardrobe. It's all black, isn't it?

Put those black denims and darker colored trousers in the back of your closet. If you choose to rock denim in the spring or summer, whether it be jeans or a denim jacket, we suggest you opt for lighter washes.

Why, might you ask? Light-washed distressed denim adds character to any fit, and a quick creative DIY will set you apart from the rest. To really stand out from your peers, consider a patterned or colored trouser, but beware! These trousers would be your statement piece and the rest of the fit should be simple or matching in a subtle way.

There’s always the cozier substitute for jeans and trousers, which is the more weather-friendly shorts. The trendier option would be to pick sweatpants or track pants, for example the Kappa track pants that are making a well deserved comeback.

Sweats and track pants are comfortable and can either be on the more fitted skinnier side, or on the baggier end, to maximize coziness.

Sweatpants and tracksuits are comfortable, easily incorporated into almost any outfit, and they lay nice on any sneaker. They will be a staple piece for those lazy days when you still want to look good.
