             • PREVENT DEBT FROM TIRING YOU OUT • NO ADDITIONAL LAWYERS FEES • Ensures that clients pay their outstanding debt before a service is rendered to them • Rediscover the joy of operating in a practice that is in control of its debt Aim of UTD: • UTD aims to empower private practitioners to control their own debt quickly and easily as well as avoiding additional lawyer and debt collectors’ fees. • Allows cooperative data access with surrounding veterinary professionals on debtors whilst working under a legal shield. • UTD offers an easy-to-use website linked to a real-time data analysing system which allows veterinary practices to identify bad debtors before rendering them a service. • UTD can be accessed from any smartphone or computer • AVOID BAD DEBT BEFORE IT BECOMES YOURS! How does it work? • The system runs on a history of defaulting payments logged by various practices. • Following 30 days of non-payment the practice will send out the standard courtesy statement informing client of their overdue account. • After 5 days - If the client does not respond to the statement sent, then the “Adverse Listing Lawyers Letter” will be sent. • A period of 48 hours is allotted to the client to respond or settle the account however; should the client fail to respond - they will then be listed on Umbrella Thorn Data as a bad debtor. • The veterinarian by law then no longer needs to render the UTD listed client any services until the outstanding account is paid. • The next veterinarian approached by the same debtor can now legally, according to the history of defaulted payments on record, refuse any further service.
