PRE-HUNG ENTRYWAYS WITH CONTINUOUS SILL
PRE-HUNG OPTION
All doors in this catalog may be ordered as pre-hung door units . Part numbers & images for pre-hung door options are available in our on-line catalog – refer to page 2 for info on how to access this information .
All entryway configurations available for hardwood doors include “ continuous ” onepiece sills . This means that the bottom sill or threshold is made from one continuous piece of threshold material , which adds strength and prevents leaking under the entryway . This assembly design is especially important in configurations that include 1 or 2 sidelites . Other manufacturers may produce this entry configuration using a “ boxed ” construction method with separate sills for each sidelite .
GlassCraft uses a 1-piece sill construction method for reinforced strength and enhanced appearance .
Doors shown at left are Portobello Mahogany 3 ’ 0 ” x 8 ’ 0 ” double doors with Flemish privacy glass . See page 30 .
