VIAM Interview withh Dan Shinder of Drum Talk TV

and

SOCIAL MEDIA ON STEROIDS

VIAM:

Why do we need your course, Social Media on Steroids?

DAN:

Sometimes I feel as though many people here in the arts community don’t want to learn anything about how to really promote themselves or be business people.. They think because they can do some graphics and have a Facebook page that they know marketing and promoting. If you look at what they put out there, let’s use Facebook as an example, the big example and is a part of the courses I teach. Because A: it covers all the bases and it gives one the opportunity to use all the fundamentals of marketing, promoting and building a community online. And B: if you can master the fundamentals on that platform, the same thing will apply to every other form of social media.

So we have Facebook as the example: When you look at many posts you will see that it is the same twelve people liking their posts and maybe there aren’t any shares and there might be a comment or three. It’s usually by the same three or five people and they are doing nothing to grow their audience.

VIAM:

What are some of the challenges?

DAN:

They don’t realize, care, or want to admit that the information they are putting out there isn’t getting to anybody. They think they have it going on and they don’t. I really want to help people get past this. I know I can, because we did at Drum Talk TV, and now we are crossing the 100k Like mark any day now with 98% “People Talking About This” and 336,000 People Engaged with our content and a reach of over 3 million people – just this week!

That means even more people are following our content than have clicked the Like button for the page. This is called going viral and we did it 100% organically and I want to show other entrepreneurs how they can do this too.
