Brad Bailey hails from the Midwestern United States and was raised on classic rock, country, early 80s metal, and alternative music. Brad has always loved music which brought him to the world stage and Las Vegas. Interestingly enough his music is a soulful fusion of Americana with reflections of folk and rock.

When you listen to his music you will find a nice mix of relaxing and scintillating sounds. Brad says he is “a guitarist, songwriter, and random noise generator”. His rootsy /raw sound comes alive on his new album, “Earthbound”. He recorded the album live, on location, near the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and it is completely improvised, real, and in the moment. It is inspiring to other musicians that he could simply hit the record button and just let the album “happen”.

His solid base in music theory was helpful in developing his raw talent but he quickly discovered that he lacked the education in business that is vital for any endeavor, music or otherwise. He was influenced by Billy McLaughlin and had encouragement from his high school theater director, Dane Madsen. When he was in a dark time of his life he found motivation in one of his classical guitar instructors who helped him and kept him from giving up on music. A hearty thank you, from all of us who love Brad’s music, to Raymond Williams for keeping

Brad’s dream and love of music alive.

Brad studied classical guitar at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He traveled the world when he joined the United States Army as a Guitar Player. He performed for the line unit soldiers patrolling the front lines during the Iraqi Freedom campaign. Brad said, “I served in the US Army for almost 9 years, including two deployments to Iraq. My Army job was to be a guitarist.” Who knew there was such a thing as Guitar Player in the United States Army! How cool!

When he was discharged from the Army, Brad returned to his adopted hometown of Las Vegas and is now actively involved in the music scene. He is currently active playing guitar and composing. He is already working on his next album. Brad says that he is compelled to make music and does just that with his own style and flair.
