Life! for magazine! Issue 4 : September / October 2014! Editor’s Welcome! May I start off by apologizing sincerely for the prolonged delay in getting this issue out. Life’s circumstances conspired to put every possible obstacle in the way this time round, and the summer passed in a flash. But I make no apologies for the contents of this issue. We have wonderful articles, and equally tantalizing recipes from some of the heavyweight vegan food writers that we are honoured to include. News of two vegan kindergartens – in Israel and the US respectively – is heartwarming and indicative of the future. US animal rights campaigner Gary Yourofsky has been instrumental in creating a vegan tidal wave in Israel, and Canadian film director James Cameron has backed the Californian kindergarten.
