VEGA WINS IN 2017
Vega encourages its students to showcase their work at a number of local and international competitions in order to
gain valuable insight and develop their craft, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity. By entering competitions,
students have the opportunity to be recognised for their incredible work and to develop their creative skills to become
more “discoverable” in the industry. 2017 was an exceptional year for Vega students and Navigators. Well done to all the
students who entered their work and congratulations to all the winners.
Behance Portfolio Night #Bookmarks2017
Behance Portfolio Review, an international platform Vega Pretoria’s 3 rd Year students Bernard Cloete, Julia
for creatives to share and receive feedback on their Smith and De Wet Cilliers shared the accolade of Best
work, has recognised Jason Walden, a third-year Visual Digital Student category at the IAB Bookmarks Awards.
Communications student at Vega, for the outstanding Their entry was an interactive mobile application for
quality of his second and third year portfolios. Walden’s Gunslinger Longboards titled ‘Renegades’. Their video
