Vega ’ s strategic partnerships delivered its second annual student exchange with Fontys Academy for Creative Industries . To date , several Vega and Fontys students have participated in the exchange programme and five Fontys lecturers have delivered workshop sessions in South Africa .
In pursuit of meaningful alliances on our own continent , Vega students will collaborate with a number of South African tertiary institutions in the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design Thinking workshop at the University of Cape Town ’ s Design Thinking week in December . 2017 also produced an exciting collaboration with the management team at the Orange Academy based in Lagos . Vega ’ s dedication to brand solutions for business and society focuses first and foremost on the African continent , and the Orange Academy trains strategists and creatives for the communication and marketing industries in Nigeria . Vega and Orange launched their newly established relationship by co-designing and delivering a strategic brand-building workshop for local industry . The workshop , co-navigated by Vega Head of Strategy and New Business Development , Dr Carla Enslin , attracted a diverse set of
entrepreneurs , brand managers , marketing and digital media strategists from some of Nigeria ’ s biggest brands , including Tecno Mobile , Tiger Brands , Citibank and Nielsen Nigeria .
Vega ’ s partnership initiatives are well on track , producing exciting opportunities for student exchanges and 2018 is certain to further expand the school ’ s alliance footprint .
