HEALTH AND FITNESS Columbus Centre Athletic Club All facilities, programs and classes are suspended until Friday, November 6, 2020. • T  he use of masks and face coverings is mandatory, as required under City of Toronto bylaw no, 541-2020. Mask or face covering may be temporarily removed while actively engaging in an athletic or fitness activity. • W  e have introduced a one-step hospital grade disinfectant and contact sanitizer that can be used for frequent touch-point cleaning throughout our facilities. • O  ur staff have been trained in cleaning protocols and have adopted a “continuous cleaning” mentality, ensuring high-touch sur-faces are given high attention. • W  e require members to wipe down their equipment BEFORE and AFTER each use. For your convenience, spray bottles and paper towel can be found on all fitness machines. • A  dditional hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the facility. • P  rotective barriers have been installed in locations where staff and members congregate. This includes the front desk, presen-tation tables, and exit and entrance points where possible. • We  are utilizing a workout booking model for scheduling your daily 55-minute workouts. At the end of your 55 minutes (if the gym is not at full capacity), you have the option of booking for another 55 minutes. • M  embers have access to the General Workout Area including elevated track, Group Fitness Studio, Spinning, Personal Training Sessions and Aquatic Programs, with strict guidelines in place, and subject to change. • G  roup Fitness Classes have been restructured to promote physical distancing and provide necessary time between classes for members to enter and exit the club safely along with providing time to properly clean between classes. A maximum of 10 participants will be allowed in the Group Fitness Classes. For contact tracing, members must register online, in person or by phone for these classes. Members must bring their own mats and or towels. • T  owel services and showers are suspended for the protection of staff and members. Changerooms are open with frequent sanitization and limited locker availability. • We have developed a “safe flow of traffic” plan throughout the facility. • T  he Columbus Centre Athletic Club staff are required to wear masks, including personal trainers. • A  one-touch “Red/Green” system is set in place to identify weights and other equipment that require cleaning prior to another member being able to use them. • A  ll drinking fountains have been closed and/or replace with water bottles dispensers. Please bring a water bottle with you.
