EVENTS BY PAUL CAPLIN VAPOUROUND ON TOUR - VAPEXPO MADRID, JUNE 9-10 So this was to be our third visit to Madrid and I must say I wasn’t overly excited at the prospect of returning to this Spanish city for another vape-related expo. Not because I have anything against Madrid, I really like the place, but because our previous two visits to a vape expo in Madrid were somewhat of a disappointment. There didn’t seem to be much of a market in Spain and this was reflected in the poor attendance of the previous two shows. Anyway, we agreed to do a media partnership in Madrid and we were fully geared up for it and hoped it would be third time lucky. This time it was the turn of VapExpo to host a Madrid show, so I was eager to see what they would achieve. Although it was part of the French franchise, the organisers were different and after speaking to them on a few occasions I believed they would pull off something no one had previously done in Madrid. After a smooth set-up, we arrived at 9.30am on the first day of the show, ready for doors to open at 10. I thought we would have plenty of time to do our final preparations and get ready for a slow to steady day, but I was so wrong. The doors opened and so did the flood gates with hundreds o
