The past 12 months have seen unprecedented expansion , leading to the opening of a new 115,000 square feet site and the addition of 35 new employees . It ’ s no wonder Vampire Vape have picked up so many awards themselves over the years and now with more competition than ever before , there ’ ll be plenty of smaller companies snapping at their heels hoping for a taste of their success . The main event takes place on 4th of May – the end of B2B Day at May ’ s Vaper Expo UK . We at Vapouround take our industry very seriously , but we also like to enjoy ourselves . If you ’ re lucky enough to secure a place , you can expect to experience plenty of laughs as we celebrate the companies and individuals who ’ ve excelled in the industry over the past year . The relaxed atmosphere makes the Awards ceremony the perfect occasion to network and build on fledgling business relationships . As most attendees will have attended B2B Day , you can expect to bump into many friendly faces from the expo itself . Some would argue that we saw far more of Riot Squad ’ s Hamish Guerinni last year than we ’ d have liked to , but his antics certainly made the night an unforgettable one . The ceremony has evolved considerably since its inception back in 2016 . We were incredibly proud of our first event , and we ’ re sure all would agree that we managed to do an even better job the second time around . We are confident that this year ’ s awards will be better still , thanks to some exciting new additions and a focus on the smaller details . only right that an event of this stature does justice to the industry that we are proud to celebrate . Many of the features from the early days continue to shape the vape industry ’ s premier awards ceremony . We like to look after our guests first and foremost , so you can expect to be treated to a delicious and professionally-presented gala dinner . We are delighted that Johnnie Lovell of BHVape and Ashley Hansen of Strawberry Queen will be hosting the awards again this year . The duo have great on-stage chemistry and a real passion for the vaping industry . Johnnie has been woven further into the fabric of Vapouround this year thanks to his YouTube juice review videos and we look forward to seeing some of that trademark cheeky presenting style in the flesh once again . Magician Nick Einhorn will be returning for a third year by popular demand . If you haven ’ t been to the ceremony before , we promise that his magic skills will leave you spellbound . We also look forward to welcoming comedian Ian Irving . And if that wasn ’ t enough , the Glow Show will wow the crowd with their dazzling human light show . Charity remains an important part of the Vapouround Awards ceremony . Last year ’ s event fell under the shadow of the tragic Manchester terrorist attack , where 22 people died and a further 512 people were injured by a bomb explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in the city . Attendees at the event put their hands in their pockets and raised over £ 4000 for the We Love Manchester Fund , set up by the British Red Cross and Manchester council . This year ’ s charity is to be confirmed but we can say that the cause is one very close to our hearts here at Vapouround and we know our friends in the industry will dig deep and help out where they can .
