Welcome to issue 16 and our second
edition of the year. We’re settling into
spring as things are heating up on the
calendar with a busy line up of events
and an ever-expanding business.
In March we added two new shops to
our growing collection of Vapouround
Lounges – one in Draycott and another
in Burton-Upon-Trent – bringing the fleet
up to six.
This month we’re gearing up for what
has become one of the industry’s most
anticipated events, the Vaper Expo UK
2018, which takes place at the National
Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from
Friday, May 4 - Sunday, May 6.
An integral part of the expo for us is the
third annual Vapouround Awards, which
will happen on the B2B day of the expo
on Friday.
There’s another important aspect of the
night and that’s charity. We will again be
raising funds for a worthy cause at this
year’s event.
To say we’re excited about this year’s
expo doesn’t do it justice. Our much-
loved casino will make a triumphant
return as we’ve doubled it in size since
October. We’ve even had the Vapouround
Bus undergo a total revamp. All will be
revealed as the bus will be in situ for the
expo weekend so make sure to come and
have a look. Keep an eye out for it on its
country-wide travels this month – you
can’t miss it!
Finally, on behalf of everyone at
Vapouround I’d like to say thanks to those
of you who voted in this year’s awards
– both readers and industry professionals
– you came out in your droves and we
couldn’t do it without you.
As the magazine has grown, so have the
awards. Last year 450 people attended in
celebration of the industry and its leading
individuals and this year, we promise the
event will be even bigger and better.
