It’s a well-told tale of this industry: a small business built from the bottom up in a short few years. Fast-forward to 2018 and the company has grown to employ 30 members of staff, boasting nine retail outlets across south Wales and has Celtic Vapours E-liquid stocked in 50 shops in the UK and Europe. Earlier this year, to meet demand, the crew relocated their manufacturing operations to a premises six times bigger than the space they previously occupied. Joe Bevan and Jim Salter, directors at Celtic Vapours, explain how the company has waded through the competition, sustained its place in the UK vape industry and why they return time and time again to the Vaper Expo UK. “As an attendee of the first expo here at the NEC, we have seen the show grow year after year. We have been to a number of other shows in Europe and we feel that this expo is one of the best in the market.” The companies that have returned to Birmingham each May and October are loyal to the industry and have benefited immensely from the growth in vaping here in 30 | THE VAPER EXPO
