Founded in Southern California during the summer of 2015 , Coastal Clouds the award winning e-liquid manufactures , who manage a small team compromising of ten employees , have grown tremendously since its formation , breaking into many different markets locally , nationally and internationally . We spoke to cofounders James and Adam about their humble beginnings as entrepreneurs .
VM : How did you get your idea for the vape business ? CC : We all worked together at an online marketing firm and quit smoking in 2012 by using vapor products . As time moved forward we became more and more passionate about the vaping industry . We were excited to see the popularity associated with vaping and wanted to be a part of helping people stop smoking .
VM : What was your mission at the outset ? CC : Our goal was to create a brand that vapers could identify with . Coastal Clouds offers unique flavors that are free from chemicals such as diacetyl and acetylpropionyl . This allows the flavor to be clean and great for an all day vape ( ADV ).
VM : How do you advertise your business / products / services ?

CC : We currently advertise our products on many different digital platforms and traditional print advertising . We have found that using grassroots techniques such as going to trade shows and vape expos has been very beneficial as well . We believe that it is very important to meet our loyal customers and current clients face to face .
VM : Where do you make your juices ? Do you have your own lab ? CC : All of our products are produced in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility in southern California .
VM : To what do you attribute your success ? CC : We are very grateful and humbled that we have had such great success with our Coastal Clouds line . It is very hard to put my finger on just one thing that has been beneficial in our success over the past year . The Coastal Clouds mission is to provide the highest level of vendor support and educate our current clients on the benefits of our liquid . Coastal Clouds e-liquid is created with only the finest ingredients to assure a clean and enjoyable vaping experience . Continuing to break into new and evolving markets has also been very beneficial for the brand .
VM : What have been your highlights of the last 12 months ?

CC : When Coastal Clouds launched at Vape Summit in Houston 2015 our flavor The Voyage won an award for Best in Show . This gave the brand tremendous momentum to provide award winning flavors at an affordable cost to all vapers . When we launched our line Coastal Clouds in the UK during the summer of 2016 we received wonderful feedback .
