ecently, I was lucky enough to
get in contact with a Vaping
Industry Leader - allow me to
rephrase, a Leader in Vape
Industry Leadership, whose name is
none other than, Norm Bour. I was even
more fortunate to have about an hour
long discussion with him. Mr. Norm
Bour is the Founder of VapeMentors,
the first and largest business
consultancy focused on the vape space.
VapeMentors offers online educational
programs, services and resources for
everyone and anyone who is interested
in learning about mastering the vape
space. Vape Shops, Online stores, and
e-Liquid brands are all a part of his
client-base who seek-out Norm Bour’s
advice and expertise. For those who may
be intrigued, I urge you to at least check

Through this website, Norm is now
running “VAPE U: Six Pillars to Vape
Space Success.” Norm is continually
innovating business strategies and
developing programs to utilize in the
industry. What I learned from speaking
with Norm was that if you are looking to
survive the FDA regulations you should
probably seek out his consultation. He
also hosts Vape Radio and was the
author of “Vapreneur: Your Guide to
Mastering the Vape Space.” I’ve had
the pleasure of interviewing Vape Shop
Owners, Premium e-Liquid creators,
Pro-Vaping Journalists and many more,
yet I’m fairly confident that Norm Bour
is by far, the most involved individual
in regards to working on anything
vape-related. He is a business owner,
he writes books, develops programs,
hosts radio shows, offers educational
platforms, writes for Vaping Magazines,
creates better business strategies, grows
smaller businesses’ overall worth, helps
startup ventures get off the ground and
then schedules in some time to talk
to me about his thoughts about pretty
get involved in the vaping industry just
because he quit smoking and became
a vaper, which seems to be the trend
or prerequisite. Mr. Bour has a very
non-traditional type of backstory for
how he made his way into this industry.

Norm claims his niche is business and
entrepreneurship and he always had
an understanding of how things worked
behind the scenes for many
successful businesses.
I asked Norm how he became involved
in the vaping industry and he directly
provided an easy-to-visualize story in
which he went for a stroll down by the
beach on the 4th of July in 2013, where
there is quite an immense amount of
people who gather for holiday festivities
in Newport Beach. As he strolled the
storefronts along the beach, he came
across, “out of the blue” in Norm’s
words, a Vape Shop and he thought to
himself “What the hell is a Vape Shop?”
Naturally, Norm walked in the shop to
learn more of this new thing he’s never
seen or heard of.
What Norm told me he realized that was
most of what he was asking, about the
shop and how it functioned as
much everything vape related. I wish
I knew where Norm found the time?
Unfortunately, that was not one of my
interview questions, why didn’t I think of
it before hand? You don’t have to answer
that question.
