There is no doubt that we have had
a brilliant first 12 months - it is really
hard to believe how much we achieved
in such a short period of time.
Working with Cuttwood, Suicide Bunny
and many others has truly opened
our eyes to what a great industry we
represent and we are truly grateful
for the support every one of these
companies has shown us.
Attending so many shows has allowed
us the unique opportunity to engage
with the vaping community in the
UK, Europe, America and beyond.
At the end of 2015 we were invited
to the Houses of Parliament to meet
with MPs and become further involved
in the efforts to support this beautiful
industry, we are proud to represent
vapers in the UK.
Another huge event for us, our readers
and our advertisers is our innovative
use of new technology where we have
taken Vapouround’s electronic platform
to the next level in a really exciting way.
Using state-of-the-art augmented reality
technology we can transform Vapouround
Magazine into Vapouround Movie-zine
where adverts on our pages can come to
life on your mobile device.
By downloading our app (available for
both Apple and android devices) our
readers can scan those adverts which
contain the embedded technology and
they will come to life before your very eyes.
If you get a chance then try this out for
yourself - just look for the logos with
the AR symbols on them and you will
understand why we call it the Movie-zine.
In addition we have forged strong media
partnerships with Miss Vapor USA and
the World Series of Cloud Chasing, both
of which can be read about in our app

We also launched the very first
Vapouround Magazine awards ceremony
for the vaping industry this year. It was
held at the NEC in the run up to the UK
Vaper Expo and it brought together some
of the biggest names in the industry from
around the world.
It was great to see so many of our vaping
friends from the USA come over for the
event and we also raised a considerable
amount of money for two great charities Nora’s Dream and Help for Heroes.
In June, at the World Vaper Expo
in Miami, we launched Vapouround
Magazine USA so now we have
magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.
The TPD has had a great impact on all
of our lives since it came into force and is
generally seen as unduly restrictive
but it also brings its own opportunities too.
We noticed that it imposes quite drastic
limitations on advertising. As a direct
result of this we have had to change
from being a magazine aimed at both
consumers and businesses to a purely
business to business magazine only.
While the former was a huge restriction
for us we also noticed that the TPD
allowed advertising on buses for
example. So we bought a bus and the
Vapouround Bus will be touring the UK
featuring totally legal and totally TPD
compliant vaping industry advertising
on it. (See a separate article in this issue for
more information on the Vapouround Bus.)
The next year or two will also see many
new projects in the pipeline including
a chain of Vapouround vape lounges
throughout major cities in the UK.
In addition we will also be releasing
the Vapo uround juice line within the
next month or so and we are incredibly
excited about all these developments.
We have come a long way in a relatively
short time and we love being part of
this community, a community which has
welcomed us with open arms and one
where we plan to be around for a long
time to come.
