OF A VAPER
Featuring Matt Pickering of the Boost It! Crew
My vaping journey began five years ago. I noticed
a little shop selling e-cigarettes and decided to take
the jump and get myself one. I bought an 1100mAh
ego battery starter kit with 24mg Hangsen blueberry
e-liquid.
Unfortunately, this didn’t quite cut it and I ended up going
back to cigarettes, using the Ego on and off but never really
sticking to it. I eventually managed to upgrade my set up
to an Aspire Atlantis tank with a Smok M80 box mod from
Premier E-cigs. The staff at the time couldn’t have been
any more helpful and, from that day, I stuck with vaping and
binned the stinkies for good! I went back to Premier E-cigs
time and time again and began to build a great friendship
with Matt Savage, the sales manager.
This opened me up to a completely different world in the
vaping industry. Eventually Matt invited me to work at the
Vaper Expo UK with Premier E-cigs and I loved every minute
of being there. Meeting other enthusiasts as well as seeing
an amazing amount of different companies just opened my
eyes to what an amazing community the vaping world is.
Years later I am now the company’s retail manager and I
haven’t missed an expo since. Each time it gets bigger and
better.
As well as that I’m also known as ‘Mr Boost It,’ which all
stemmed from Premier E-cigs and the Council of Vapor Xion
Mod. This, yet again, opened up more avenues in the vaping
industry for me, I now have a YouTube channel ‘Mr Boost
It Reviews It’. The vaping community for me is what keeps
people using e-cigarettes and it is such a friendly, welcoming
community to be a part of.
Here’s to the rest of 2019. I can’t wait to see what it brings for
Mr Boost It and the crew.
