Vapouround’s Derby-based shops and lounges host a donation
drive for the Children’s Hospital.
The children at the Derbyshire Children’s Hospital were treated
to an unforgettable treat over the holiday period thanks to the
generosity of the region’s vapers.
Jane Johnson from Derby vape shop Vapouround@Delboys said
she was touched by the generosity of the vaping community
and wants to thank everyone who donated gifts.
She said: “When we were just Delboys –
before we joined Vapouround – I always did
a charity event. I’ve been doing quite a bit
for brain tumour research, which was
inspired by what I saw a close friend go
through. After raising about £1,000
for that endeavour, I learned my eldest
daughter was doing a charity event
with her school (it was her own idea)
for the Teenage Cancer Trust in aid of
a year eleven classmate who was being
treated at the Royal Derby Hospital.”
Seeing how important helping the Royal
Derby was to her daughter motivated Jan
to do the same. Keeping her charity work
local, she found no shortage of good deeds to
do or needs to be met. Fortunately, there was also no
shortage of generosity found in Derby’s residents.
