VaperBar is the product of educated enthusiasm and the conversion of a few willing followers, a collective of great characters and personalities with absolute focus on improving people’s experience of vaping by providing the best of the available products, advice and guidance. The business was started by Darren Gyles in early 2014, over two years was fully restructured, ahead of the challenges of the pending legislation, the rebranded VaperBar emerged in 2016 with a well-established customer base, a refined philosophy and a budding reputation. Darren said: “We didn’t build our reputation, our customers did that and we are here to understand people’s needs. When people consider moving from smoking to vaping they can be anything from apprehensive to terrified and we understand these fears. “People move to vaping for a surprising variety of reasons, by choice, for health reasons or due to the wishes of loved ones and we take the time to treat everyone as an individual and to give them the one-to-one service they need. “VaperBar is all customer facing, and we see everybody. Remember how the most interesting people at a party or a club were the smokers relegated outside, committed to their ‘fix’, ending up having the best conversations. These people vape instead now, and in some places they are allowed to enjoy their pastime indoors as a result of their decision. Now there are a lot of vapers. We convert new vapers everyday. We have a family of very different people; it’s no commune, but it’s a transient, all- encompassing experience. 212 | VM15
