Outreach to Britain’s MPs is vital for vaping, as all policy must be evidenced-based and up to date. Vapouround was invited to the Houses of Parliament, pleading our case for our industry. The following year was to be just huge for the magazine as 2016 saw us grow in popularity both at home and abroad. Vapouround soon went from quarterly to bi-monthly, and was able to engage in real-time with readers around the world thanks to our active social media presence, an online version of the publication and innovative app technology. Our partners at the Vaper Expo also increased their number of yearly shows to two, and we happily supplied the showguide. We also launched the first Vapourond Awards evening which brought together people from all sectors from the global vaping industry for an evening of celebration. Dominating the print scene and taking the internet by storm en route to a massive international network of partners, contacts and friends “ of furious work building up to the day reached their end and our inaugural issue was very well received by the Vapefest crowd. Issue Two was ready in time for Vapefest Ireland, and Vapouround’s signature habit of coming to and reporting on the biggest events was firmly established. At Vapefest Ireland we formed our first media partnership and this was to be something which was to repeat itself right around the world. Now in 2017 we come to many shows not only as vendors and exhibitors but as official partners too. But what is a business that can’t – as the expression goes – ‘crack America?’ The world’s largest economy and vape market was calling, and Vapouround answered. We made our presence felt at the Electronic Cigarette Convention (or ECC) 2015 in Pomona, California. The economic and forward-thinking powerhouse of California remains one of vaping’s strongest bastions, and touching down in its borders helped the floodgates of opportunity open for us. The rest of 2015 saw our show presence expand, and the cherry on wasn’t enough. The Vapouround Bus has made us mobile within our own borders, boosting business and vaping’s visibility all over the country. It was only natural we would then seek to plant our very own lounges with unique brand liquids and well-informed staff as far and wide as possible. It has been a pleasure providing guides and brochures for vape events all over the world, such as Paris’ Vapevent, Expo Vape in Spain, and the Shenzen International Electronic Cigarette Industry Expo in China. Vapouround Magazine is a brand now instantly recognised the world over and are continuing to evolve and expand our business. We have a successful juice line, a new clothing range and lots of exciting plans in the pipeline for the future. Who knows where we will be in another two years time?
