They started out as purely functional
- very useful but nothing at all to write
home about or talk about.
However that is no longer the case and
the simple drip tip can be far from purely
utilitarian these days.
The pimped out drip tips featured here
are all mini works of art which are
designed to look great in themselves
and on the devices they are paired
up with.
These metal tips are just as functional
as their more traditional counterparts but
they are also things of intense beauty.
Drip tips can be chosen reflect the user’s
personality or to compliment the mods
they attach to or simply because they
look so good on any device.
In the same way that car enthusiasts
will seek new ways of customising their
prized motors, serious vapers have
discovered that drip tips are ideally
placed to be customised.
In this selection we feature an aluminium
dragon head drip tip which looks
amazingly cool. Dragons of old used to
breathe fire but today’s dragons seem
more content producing huge cloud
of vapour.
The bronze Adam & Eve drip tip is
one that is sure to get noticed. You will
certainly turn heads from vapers and
non-vapers alike if you use this and it is
bound to be a topic of conversation.
The steel bull’s head with its curved
horns looks as if it might double up as a
bottle opener. I am not sure how effective
it would be but now that I come to think
about it a drip tip/bottle opener might not
be a bad idea at all.
The aluminium Hulk’s head and the
bronze Wolverine head are two more of
the creative quirky designs that caught
our eye recently and I think bronze is a
particularly good metal choice if you want
your drip tip to instantly stand out.
The gold-coloured aluminium rose tip
reminds me of those tall chimneys you
used to see on old industrial mills but it
may look like something totally different
to you.
Finally we have two skull-themed drip
tips - one in aluminium and the top-hatted
skull in steel.
I think the top hat design works
particularly well but different people will
have different tastes when it comes to
drip tip designs.
Whether you are happy to use the
standard drip tip or want something a
little different there is no right or wrong
answer about which to choose.
