I have to admit after seeing the tiny size of the Target Mini my hopes weren’t particularly high, but looks can be deceiving. The CCell coils that come with this kit are both Stainless Steel Ceramic Cell coils, you get one that weighs in at 0.5Ω and the other at 0.6Ω. I stayed with the pre-installed 0.5Ω coil and juiced it up with my favourite juice, then I noticed the strangely reverse threaded top nut, I think this is due to the fact it screws into the coil too but I’m not positive. After removing the top nut the cap that houses the airflow section unscrews the 158 ISSUE 08 VAPOUROUND MAGAZINE standard way after turning a little way to close the airflow first, priming the coil was a breeze with two large holes that easily accommodated a pipette. The 0.6Ω coil had smaller juice flow holes that a pipette wouldn’t fit but my unicorn bottle did. There are three buttons in a triangular formation on the front of this device as well as the fire button, the two upper buttons are for adjusting wattage and temperature, left for lower and right for higher. The third button is for swapping between modes but to prevent accidental mode swapping it takes a 2 second hold instead of a quick press. After ramping it up to max I got a decent hit and fantastic flavour, I was completely blown away and I apologise for doubting it. I used this brilliant little black and gold device constantly for a week and I still can’t get over how good it really is, the only down side I found was that the battery was practically dead by the end of the working day, but with the nifty little silver coloured braided USB cable to charge it with, I could charge it at lunch to make the whole day. I am so incredibly thrilled at the performance I got from Vapouresso’s Target Mini and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a decent starter kit or even to someone wanting something pocket sized with a bit of grunt.
