Asmodus Triad Genesis RDTA
The Triad Genesis came in a quaint little
burlap-style bag with the asMODus logo
and atty name silkscreen printed on it.
Inside the burlap bag, the atty and spare
parts came in frosted-effect plastic bags.
As seems standard now, you get a bunch
of spare O-rings, grub screws and thumb
screws with an allen wrench and a spare
glass for the tank.
The Triad Genesis has an ingenious
design with a hollow screw that holds
the positive connectors in place. You
remove the thumb screw from the top to
access the hollow screw which doubles
as the filling hole. There is ample space
for building on in each third of the deck,
with the wicking holes perfectly placed
for wicking vertical coils. I’ve tried both
horizontal and vertical coils in this and it
is definitely easier to build with
vertical coils.
You have great build potential with the
massive 2mmx3mm post holes, a total
diameter of 24mm for the whole atty
and a height of 50mm from drip tip to
connector. The tank holds around 2ml of
juice which comes in handy, especially
with a triple coil setup that drinks juice
faster than a Hummer with a leak.
I have experimented with different coils,
wicks and juices and discovered I get
decent flavour from the Triad Genesis
but it really excels at vapour production,
a small hit from this generates quite big
clouds which took me by surprise on my
first hit.
The Triad Genesis comes apart into so
many pieces it is a breeze to clean it
out, also mixed in the bag of spares you
get two plugs to seal off up to two of the
segments to easily swap between 1, 2 or
3 coil builds.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reviewing this
atty and feel that it is one of the better
RDTAs I have used and my only want
is for bigger air flow holes as the Triad
Genesis occasionally whistles while
taking a hit.
The machining on all parts is faultless
and you can see the care and attention
that has gone into the design and build
of this atty and with all things considered
I think a score of 4/5 does this proud.
Asmodus Triad Competition RDA Rebuildable Atty
Along with the mod, I was given this
awesome triple coil RDA. It was a shock
when I opened it up, having never had
an RDA like this so I was excited to start
building. The build quality is awesome
and very well designed, with a nice
protruding 5 10 pin with lots of air flow
and big chunky Delrin chuff cap for
added heat displacement. Even with
three coils running 1.7 ohms it did not
get hot around the chuff cap. I enjoyed
building on this atty a great deal as they
are a lot of different options you can
choice from. I found that making 3 coils
twisted 28 gage 6 wraps runs about
1.6-1.7 ohms worked best for me. The
cloud production was second to none,
although the flavour lacked taste due to
the large air flow. I I soon adjusted it to
my preference which was about half way
open for nice flavour whilst still giving
you nice clouds. This atty is great for
experienced builders and enthusiasts
or people that like to collect, as it is
very different and would look great in
anyone’s vaping collection.

Overall I really like this atty. Top marks
to asMODus for bringing out something
new and exciting as everyone else
follows the crowd. I give this a 4/5
