REVIEWS Melon Head Hometown Vapor is the manufacturer of 'Melon Head', hailing from Kalamazoo (that's fun to say!), Michigan, USA. The juice I received came in a clear glass 60ml dropper style bottle. The labelling is quite bright and colourful, however I don't think it is overly appealing to young children, although this is down to personal opinion. The juice itself is clear and syrupy thick. My eLiquid came in 3mg (my preferred nicotine level) but it is also available in 0mg and 6mg nicotine. It is a max VG juice, so I was expecting truly decent clouds. A 60ml bottle is available online, retailing for around $25 (£19), so it is a very appropriate price for what it is you are getting in return. Smelling this wonderful juice's aroma, I could definitely pick up on a candy Daddy's by Blue Label Elixir Blue Label Elixir is a premium line of juices made in the USA. They have a selection of 7 different flavours so far, all available in 35ml and 240ml bottles. The average price for a 35ml bottle is £20 in the UK, however it is cheaper to purchase it in the states as 35ml costs around $20, available in both countries online. A great thing about Blue Label Elixir is that it comes in a multitude of different nicotine options, 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg - perfect for even the pickiest vaper! This juice, called 'Daddy's' comes in 70% VG, so I was expecting decent vapour production from it. 146 ISSUE 06 VAPOUROUND MAGAZINE styled watermelon- something that is pretty obvious due to it being named 'Melon Head'! When tasting it, a whole new set of flavours came into play. Again, melon is the primary element to this juice, but then I could sense a citrusy candy kick to it. On the inhale, an overwhelming and generic sugary fruit candy was all I could taste, but, as I continued to vape on it, the flavours mellowed out, and once again, I could taste a melon and lemon hard candy. Exhaling, these two components bounced off one another, rather than amalgamating. I actually quite liked that, as it gave me the ability to appreciate each unique flavour. The melon accent was sweet and juicy whilst the flavour (best described as lemon) was sugary yet tart, both appealing in their own right. As I predicted, the production of vapour was simply fantastic. The clouds were billowy and thick, and carried a beautiful aroma around the room. However, because of this liquid's heavy viscosity (due to it being a max VG), I would not recommend using it on any set up above 1.0 ohms, as the juice could clog up or damage your coils. Overall, I rather liked this eliquid, with it's sweet and slightly sour tones and extremely satisfying cloud production. I've tried a few melon flavoured eJuice, but I think that this one is the best so far! I would give Melon Head a 4/5 For this particular review, I am using a Sigelei Fuchai 213, running at 97 watts and a Doge V3 RDA utilising 2 clapton coils at 0.18ohms. Before I even vaped this juice, I could smell a beautiful combination of sweet fruit and a wholesome creaminess. I couldn't wait to try it! If the smell was anything to go by, the taste was astonishing. On inhalation, I could pick out a tart and juicy jolt of kiwi fruit, meticulously devised, insanely fruity and a satisfying aftertaste of sourness. I found it wasn't sickly nor was it boring in flavour. Definitely an all day vape, in my opinion. The production of vapour was rather pleasing, and at an average 70% VG, it was just as I expected. Overall, I found that this juice was aiming for something just that little bit different, and by all means they achieved it, going for a fruity custard. Something that is not often attempted for fear of getting it wrong, and in my opinion, they got it 100% right! I would love to try out the other juices in this line, to see if they are just as good as Daddy's. I enjoyed it very much indeed and would give it 5/5! “Upon exhaling, there was a more prominent tang of smooth strawberry that I found matched incredibly well with the kiwi. It was a stroke of genius by Blue Label” Upon exhaling, there was a more prominent tang of smooth strawberry that I found matched incredibly well with the kiwi. It was a stroke of genius by Blue Label - counteracting tart and juicy with smooth and sweet, it turned out perfect. After a few inhales and exhales, I began to notice a new dimension to this juice, one of a mild but pleasant custard. If there was any way for Blue Label Elixir to improve on this juice, adding a hint of custard was it! It tastes brilliant and
