Verone is the new flavour from
Parisian based vapour company
Flavour Power. The base of the liquid
is a 50:50 PG base. Due to its runny
consistency it will work better in tanks
and clearomisers rather than use for
drippers, which need a higher VG
content. The flavour profile of this is very
French; French Brioche with a lovely
twist of coconut, vanilla and zingy lime.
I’m a fan of pâtisserie treats and, as
such, I’ve been looking forward to this
since I was told the e-liquid was on its
way to me. Starting with the scent, it is
a very sweet smelling vape. The citrus
hits you afterwards and the coconut and
vanilla kind of get a little lost due to the
overpowering citrus notes.
Now to the taste – I vaped this on a
Realueax RX 200, with an Aspire Cleito
136 ISSUE 06 VAPOUROUND MAGAZINE
tank and a 0.4
ohm coil. I really
liked this vape,
firstly the
sweetness of
the Brioche
hits the
taste-buds
and is then
taken over
by the citrus
flavour. I
do have
to say that
the coconut
and vanilla felt
somewhat lost to
me.
I expected to pick up
coconut on the aftertaste,
as I have on other coconut
flavours, but it just wasn’t there.
Please don’t misunderstand me, as
a complete flavour Verone works, but
I struggled to pick up on some of the
subtler flavours independently – more
than likely because the lime flavour
dominates the taste-buds. Verdict 4/5
