THE KANGERTECH
SUBVOD KIT (3.2ML)
By Peach Atkinson
This kit was released in the UK in
November 2015 and has gained an
extensive following since. It is a great
device for those who are relatively new
to sub-ohm vaping and need a simple to
use kit.
I received a blue Subvod kit with a top or
bottom filling pyrex Subtank Nano-S with
a capacity of up to 3.2ml (as opposed to
the European version of 1.9ml ). It has
a diameter of 18.5mm and a standard
510 connection. Furthermore, it has an
updated airflow options when compared
to the Subtank Nano. This tank supports
SSOCC coils down to 0.4ohms.
Personally, I find all Kangertech tanks to
be fiddly and prone to leakages due to
the glass not being fixed to the rubber
o-rings.
It is made of Stainless Steel and
Aluminium alloy and comes in 6 different
colours – Black, White, Silver, Blue, Pink
and Purple, enough to suit anyone! It
also comes with a replaceable plastic
drip tip to match the battery.

The Subvod is a Li-ion1300mAh battery
with a 3.7v fixed output voltage, which
takes a maximum of about 2 hours to
charge, however when vaping anything
under 1 ohm, you should not expect the
battery to last very long.
For such a basic device, vapour
production is impressive, especially
when using high VG juices.
Flavour is okay, but not the best i’ve
tried.
I found that the Subvod was particularly
handy both physically-as it is not bulky
and can fit in many ‘ecig’ lanyard cases,
making it useful to take out on your
travels, and technically- as you dont
have to fiddle with changing voltage/
wattage/temperature etc.
The price is very reasonable at about
£25 online.
Overall, The Kangertech Subvod is a
very welcome change to kanger devices,
it’s a good price, aesthetically pleasing
and a fab vapour production. What more
could you want?!
