is one way I can get them to reverse
their direction.
Make no mistake, I am not trying to
ban nicotine, nor am I throwing them
under the bus. I believe that once
this industry matures, it can better
articulate the benefits of nicotine
products and educate the consumer
of those benefits.
Tier was not needed anymore and
will now any type of flavoring to be
sold, even those with nicotine.
This two step distinction can be
further modified without changing
the overall structure. There have
been a few companies in the
USA that have expressed some
reservations about the labeling,
because their products not only
“Here is what I am proposing to the industry. E-Liquid
should be the designation of all products that have
nicotine. All products without should be called E-Juice.”
A few of you might know that there
are some countries that use a Two
Tiered System based on nicotine.
I am proposing that we help them by
adapting these terms, so that they
can better formulate the appropriate
regulations for their people. Right
now, nowhere in the world has any
government changed their minds
on a full ban, and without the
designation difference, they
won’t start.
Recently we have seen Belgium
reverse from what is called a Two
Tier System to an Open System.
Until January 2016, products that
had nicotine were not allowed to
be sold, but now that they have
seen that there was no correlation
between using non-nicotine and
smoking, they have realized the Two

do not have nicotine but they are
making their products with herbs
and with a therapeutic angle to it.
One such company is called Namoa
Vape and is a leader in providing
products that satisfy the oral
needs of the customer, at the same
time providing known ingredients
that can provide benefits to the
customer. For this company, at first
they were hesitant about the E-Juice
designation, but when they were
told that in the future, as the industry
grows and matures, it will be an
additional designation under E-Juice
called E-Elixirs for those products in
that category that purport to provide
health benefits for the customer
without medicines.
Yes, for those thinking, there will
also be a category under E-Liquids
Nicotine molecular formula
that will have such designations as
e-medicines or even e-cannabis,
once the community and the legal
system find that there are ways
to introduce some medicines via
vaping (like inhalation).
I believe that using this first
designation will help stop the
unimpeded progress of Big Tobacco
in closing the world
to vaping products.
