CBD rizzle
Pistachio & Lemon Drizzle Cake
METHOD
YOU WILL NEED
For the cake For the drizzle
• 200g self-raising flour • 2 tbsp sugar
• 175g butter • 50g pistachio nuts
• 175g caster sugar • 1 lemon
• 50g pistachio nuts • 1 tsp of chopped pistachios
• 3 eggs • 1/2 tsp hemp oil paste
• 2 lemons
• 5 tbsp cocoa powder
• 2/3 tsp hemp oil paste
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line
a tin with baking parchment.
2. Cream the butter, sugar and lemon zest until pale
and fluffy. Add the hemp oil paste.
3. Add in the eggs one at a time.
4. Mix in the flour and pistachios, leaving a few
behind for decoration, as well as the lemon juice
and zest.
5. Pour into the tin and bake for 40-45 minutes.
6. Whilst the cake is baking, make the drizzle. Heat
the ingredients in a pan on medium heat until the
sugar has dissolved allow to cool.
7. After taking the cake out and leaving to cool, pour
on the drizzle and scatter the chopped pistachios.
