understand we have a very safe product. We want to lobby
for the CBD movement.”
“We all get drug tested. Rugby is one of the highest tested
professional sports, it comes with a really clean attitude.
We’re bringing out our zero range, it’s going to really set
in stone the standards across the UK in testing, testing for
contaminants in the best test labs possible.”
What’s it like working together on and off the field? It seems
to gel with both players taking on ownership of their fair
share of the workload.
“We said right at the start that if we were going to be in
business together, honesty would be a massive thing we
need. If we’re not pulling our weight or we think we need
something… It’s working pretty well. George will be away for
a long period of time now – playing for England – so I’ll step
up a little bit. I just had a baby so George was there then, he
stepped up in that respect. It doesn’t feel like an extra job
when you believe in it so much. You find a balance.”
“It’s been great. You just get invested in it.”
With the first phase of products out now, the next step for
fourfive cbd is the wholesale market. The range is already
available at TheDrug.Store, a King’s Road pop-up shop.
Sometimes in this job, you encounter people with a profile,
who act as a face to a brand they’ve managed to attach their
name to through some hotshot PR firm. But this couldn’t be
further from the truth for George and Dom. They even finish
each other’s sentences, although I don’t think they realise it!
Who is better poised to drive CBD over the line?
The Wales and England internationals may have some serious
success behind them, but fourfive is likely to be their biggest
accomplishment yet.
