REVIEWS CBD Oil. Medium Strength, Natural Flavour by CBD HUB UK Next up I tried the cool mint flavoured 15 percent CBD Oil, this time with a pipette. Lift the lid and there’s an instant waft of peppermint and spearmint. So many brands are masking the bitterness of hemp and CBD with menthol flavours and I have sampled a few, but CBD Hub do this really well. Again, they’ve masked some of the harsh aftertaste we associate with tinctures, but the mint isn’t overbearing. There’s nothing worse than tasting something you know could have been better executed, so I’m happy CBD Hub have put the effort in here. It’s worth mentioning too that CBD Hub UK use GM-free CBD oil across their product range. Plus their oils have been filtered at least three times to achieve what they call a ‘Golden CBD’ standard. Last but not least, I used a rather different oil product, again in the form of drops. I wasn’t expecting this flavour to land on my desk. In an industry which seems to be dominated by citrus and menthol, when I read ‘rosemary and clary sage in extra virgin avocado oil’ on the label, my interest was piqued. Full disclosure, I’m not a big fan of rosemary anything so I was quite apprehensive. This oil is five percent CBD, and in comparison with the other CBD Hub samples I tried this time around, I didn’t get much of an effect from this. That said, I would highly recommend the sod mint spray and cool mint drops to anyone who likes natural products that aren’t full of artificial ingredients. CBD Hub have also done well to include precise instructions for how to use each of their products, perhaps due to the individuality of CBD and how people take it. Mouth Spray and Oil by CBD HUB UK spray top. Spray tops are becoming more and more popular as an alternative to pipettes. What I also liked is that the amount of CBD the user receives per spray is listed on the bottle - in my case this contained 1.5mg per spray. I think this is a policy more brands should adopt in controlled dosages, instead of the consumer having to work the math out. It certainly makes for ease of finding the right amount to take. I really enjoyed using the spray — I can see why this flavour combination has grown so popular and thankfully, CBD Hub haven’t gone down the chewing gum route with their mint blends. Instead they’ve used top of the range essential oils, which make the oils more akin to expensive peppermint tea than dental floss. Full disclosure, I will probably try anything that comes with a vegan stamp. I’m by no means vegan, but with society putting an emphasis on leading a plant-based lifestyle, then I’m all for ’save the world’ CBD products. Plus I love the emphasis on having as natural a product as possible. CBD Hub’s mouth spray and oil drops have clearly been in development for some time, judging by the quality. There is no hemp odour, which is the first thing I look for in a tincture. The flavours are also right up my street, again with a focus on plants and all things natural. The spray is soft mint flavoured, which was a refreshing burst of mint without a lingering toothpaste taste. (Some cheaper brands have come out with this and it’s just not good.) The bottle I tried was 400mg in a 30ml glass bottle, with a convenient VAPOUROUND CBD MAGAZINE 103
