Page 4 VACATION WEEK Wed., June 25, 2014 Free fishing seminars planned at Hi-Pines Free fishing seminars for children ages 5 to 13 will be held each Tuesday through Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at HiPines Campground, located at 1919 Highway 45 N. in Eagle River. All children will be given information about fishing, a goody bag and prizes. Prizes could include a rod and reel, tackle box, lures and other fishing items. Topics cover fish identification, size limits, license requirements, rigging slip bobbers, tying knots, fish habitats, how to net fish, how to handle fish, catchand-release, boating safety, being responsible to others and the environment, cast- ing techniques and the prevention of spreading invasive species. The seminars are conducted by Headwaters Chapter of Muskies Inc. and Wisconsin Conservation Congress delegates from Vilas and Oneida counties.
