the North Woods for more than 24 years
CornerStone Custom
Builders Inc. has recently
completed its 24th year supplying custom-built homes
varying in style, size and
function to fulfill its customer’s visions throughout
Northern Wisconsin and the
Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
“We always have prided

and desires of our clients,”
said president Glenn Schiffmann.
The traditional backbone
of CornerStone’s business is
the building of single-family
custom-built homes.
“We
are
uniquely
equipped to build the home
that matches your lifestyle.
Our homes are custom built
with an unlimited amount
of available options,” said
project manager Bruce Stefonek.
Customers can tour any
of the company’s eight
model homes to help spark
ideas.
“Our model homes are a
great tool to use when sitting down in the planning
stages. The ability to see a
vaulted ceiling, the size of
potential room or kitchen
layout is invaluable,” said
project manager Jeremy
Oberlander.
CornerStone’s originality
also allows their customers
to build from their own
home plans or sit down with
a designer and bring a
sketch to reality.
“Many of the homes we
have built are a mixture of
several home plans or a
combination of our model
home floor plans. We have
many options to get you
started,” said project manager Darren Rubo.
According
to CornerStone, the most recent market trend has been a push to
scale back the overall
square footage in homes,
create larger family areas,
provide more durable finishes and utilize green building
products and practices.
Cornerstone recognized
this trend and released the
“Cornerstone Cottage Series,” a plan booklet dedicated to seven of CornerStone’s
most popular cottage floor
plans with all of them between the $150,000 and
$160,000, dependent on
final finish selections.
Customers will find that
each cottage can be finished
turn-key or an exterior shell
package can be supplied.
CornerStone’s flexibility offers customers the option to
add a loft, screened porch,
walkout basement, or an attached garage to many of
these plans.

The company built their
newest model home, GreenStone, at their Minocqua location. The new model home
provides customers with
even more energy efficient
options, according to CornerStone. The GreenStone
features a totally different
look and material selection
from the other CornerStone
model homes presently displayed.
