Bar and Grill has become
the destination of choice for
those who want to enjoy
good food and drinks at affordable prices.
Owners Dave and Jen
Payne started looking to
move “Up North” while on
vacation in 1998. Once they
saw Club 45, they knew it
was the right location.
“I always tell people that
we took a chance on owning
a bar and restaurant, but if
we never tried we would always regret it, and we are
still here almost 15 years
later,” said Jen Payne.
Now the Paynes are raising their three children and
continuing to expand their
business.
Club 45, nicknamed “The
House of Payne” features
many items on the menu including the popular white
cheese curds, chargrilled
burgers, Italian beef and
thin crust and Chicago-style
deep-dish pizza. They also
feature an 18-item salad bar
on Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday evenings.
“We use romaine lettuce
and spinach and try to pick
interesting, fresh toppings.
Also, all of our dressings are
homemade,” said Jen Payne.
Club 45 features daily
food specials. Monday is the
Italian beef sandwich with
fries for $5, Wednesday is
pizza night where you can
get a 12-inch thin crust for
$10 and a 16-inch thin crust
for $15.
Thursday is the gyro
sandwich with fries, homemade meatball and red
sauce with pasta for $5 and
salad bar.
Friday features a beerbattered cod fish fry with
coleslaw and choice of potato
starting at $6. Grilled
salmon, soup and a salad
bar also are available.
