Land O’ Lakes has expanded in the last 11 years to serve delicious North Woods favorites to diners in a family atmosphere. Owner Rob “Big Rob” Andersen prides himself on having a family-friendly restaurant. “It’s a family restaurant and a supper club — a little bit of everything with the addition of the new dinner salad,” said Big Rob.

The interior of the restaurant has been brightened by the addition of large windows, according to Andersen. The restaurant has two dining rooms. The parking lot also has been enlarged. But even with a new look, Loose Moose continues to serve favorites like barbecued ribs — formerly the house specialty at Tia Juana. Diners can choose from
chewy or fall-off-the-bone ribs which are lightly smoked and seasoned with Big Rob’s own homemade BBQ sauce. Few restaurants offer an all-you-can-eat fish fry every night, but Loose Moose is an exception.
