One Billion Rising Revolution in the joint struggle and
demand to end all forms of marginalization, discrimination
and oppression based on gender.
LGBTQGNC global communities are rising to demand
equality, justice, freedom and respect for human dignity
regardless of gender.
At the Davao, Philippines event, these activists joined with
workers, urban poor, peasants, teachers, students, women’s
groups, community groups, families of migrants, groups for
the rights of sex workers, and Lumad communities for a major
multi-sectoral grassroots RISING!
