Intermodal logistics centre, established on the basis
of Navoi airport and regulated by South Korean
airline company «Korean air» is one of the primary
factors of free industrial economic zone.
Cargo terminal is able to process 300 tons of cargo
per day. The airport operates twenty-four-hours.
At present time from the airport of Navoi city there
are regular flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Istanbul, Doha,
Dubai, Hanoi, Moscow, Bishkek, Seoul, Milan, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Paris, Zaragoza, Vienna and Basel.
The cargo terminal of Navoi airport is able to serve
100 thousand tons of cargo per year.
In free industrial economic zone “Navoi” 19 productions have been put into operation. In particular, the
production of such products as modems and TV-tuners, electronic power meters, power cables, heating
and hot-water boilers, mobile and landline telephones,
finished medicines, etc. has been arranged.
II. Special industrial zone “Angren” has been established in Tashkent region
The period of functioning of special industrial zone
(SIZ) «Angren» makes up 30 years with the possibility of subsequent extension. During the term of
functioning on its territory the special tax regime
and customs privileges take place.
The privileges are granted for the period of 3 - 7
years depending on the amount of investments
made, including those equivalent to:
• from 300 thousand US Dollars to 3 million US
Dollars – for 3 years;
• over 3 million US Dollars to 10 million US Dollars – for 5 years;
• over 10 million US Dollars – for 7 years.
There, in the beginning of 2010 on the basis of
the railway station “Ablyk” the logistics center
“Angren” started its work. This center will be
able to provide the companies of SIZ with the
services of cargo transportation in any direction of the Republic.
Currently in SIZ “Angren” the production of
high-tech products have been organized in
the framework of 9 projects, in particular,
energy-saving LED lamps, c opp er pip es of
different diameters, gypsum wall b oards,
briquette coal, sugar, etc.
III. Special industrial zone “Jizzakh”
Special industrial zone (SIZ) “Jizzakh” with the affiliate in Syrdarya region of Syrdarya area has been
established in 2013.
The period of functioning of special industrial zone
(SIZ) “Jizzakh” makes up 30 years with the possibility of subsequent extension. During this period on
SIZ territory the special tax regime and customs
privileges take place.
The privileges are granted for the period of 3 - 7
years depending on the amount of investments
made, including those equivalent to:
• from 300 thousand US Dollars to 3 million US
Dollars – for 3 years;
• over 3 million US Dollars to 10 million US Dollars – for 5 years;
• over 10 million US Dollars – for 7 years.
In the territory of SIZ “Angren” 8 projects have
been implemented with the participation of
Chinese companies.
