This year, members of PRSSA will be traveling to Boston for the international public relations conference this October. Professionals from all over the United States will be giving each student a peek into the world of PR and the work they do with major companies known worldwide. There will also be several opportunities to go on personal tours of the agencies in the Boston area where the students get to see the behind the scenes of the PR industry. There is no greater opportunity for the students at this conference where they can enhance their education, broaden their network, and launch their careers.
Each student from UVU will be completely prepared for this trip. Stephen Whyte believes that to get the most out of the conference, the students need to know the specific details about the speakers and sponsors. Each student has been working extensively to prepare a conference reference book detailing each key speaker and sponsor, business cards, fine-tuned resumes and personal blog where they will be detailing the experience of the conference day-to-day.
