A teenage boy called Ben Under-
wood lost his sight to cancer when
he was 3 years old. He learned to use
echolocation (orientation in space by
sound that e.g. bats use) in order to
sense his surroundings. he was able
play table soccer, basketball, he did
karate, roller blades, enjoyed pillow
fights and much more, died on Janu-
ary 19, 2009 at the age of 16, from the
same cancer that took his vision.
T he English are always very polite
and considerate to their neighbors.
