My opinion: Well, «If I Stay» is one of my favorite books, why? Because I’ve been through a lot of emotions while reading it, I’ll explain myself: -I liked the fact that we go back and forth between Mia’s memories and the present. -The author shows us an aspect of love that I really like, how it can be translated differently from the «regular lovers» kind of love to another love such as family’s love and friends love which can be very strong and deep, and she shows us how hard it is to lose people we love and care about and how we can learn to live with that. -We follow Mia’s life choice struggle and how she decides to wake up or not, we see her point of view and the others point of views which is something I really liked to read, everyone of them shows an emotion and a memory so the whole book is more like a puzzle to me, each character had some pieces to put together with the others to complete the puzzle and for me the author used that to refer to life and how everyone can give a little something so it will be there in our lives ! -Simplicity was a thing that I kept in mind through the whole book, it was a simple and a good read for me, it gave me an impact but without being rough, how we can easily imagine and be in each scene!!! -Yes, because it has music in it, it’s also a reason why I loved the book, there were some parts where Mia describes the feeling she had while playing the Cello that just moved me so much, Adam was also very passionate with music and his band and I really loved that connection between them through music. -Never judge a book by its movie …. NEVER!!! Even if the movie was good/okay for some people, I thought that It was a little different from the book but it’s a movie so they have to take some from the book and add some of their own touch! So to note the book: 5/4 stars! Well dear Readers hope you liked this first review!!!
