activity. Students are
provided with short
description of Cindy’s
house. Then they have
to describe their own
house. When they
finish, they exchange
writings in order to
find out whose house
has got more rooms.

This is a bingo game.
Students are given a
table divided into six
squares. They are
asked to fill-in each
square with the name
of
a
furniture,
accompanied by a
colour. The teacher
names
coloured
furniture in random.
The one who first
checks all six items is
the winner. However,
the game does not
finish until all students
have checked all their
items.
This is a follow-up A model text
activity which is fully
contextualized as it
gives
students
a
purpose for writing
and a real audience.
Students are given the
chance to use the
language they were
presented with. A
model text helps them
understand what is
expected from them.
This
task
helps
students consolidate
the language being
taught within a relaxed
atmosphere.
The
activity has a purpose
other than language as
such and this helps
natural
acquisition.
Students finish the
