Marketing Social Media Marketing The purpose of a website is to gain traffic. You can gain tremendous attention for your products through social media sites or platforms. Center your marketing program on efforts that generate content to attract customers and encourage readers to share your products with their social friends and social media network. You have now created an electronic work of mouth program and expanded your customer base. Social media platforms are the perfect venues to allow individuals to interact with friends and acquaintances and built relationships. Companies that join in on social media channels design their marketing campaigns to interact with consumers and communicate directly. This type of interaction is more personal and can produce higher sales. Social Media Marketing Tactics LinkedIn’s “Your Day” feature is one of the best ways to get a huge return on time investments. Just sync your contacts and calendar with LinkedIn and the “Your Day” feature will provide opportunities to communicate and engage with your networks. Jump into this feature as quick as you can. Facebook is a network of “likes,” shares and comments. If you do not receive any of these comments, you are wasting your time. Boost your social media Facebook power by using images showing your products. Find images like bursts, signs and boards if you have no specific photos of you products. Add text to the images. Make your text a question. Questions always engage readers and encourage likes and comments. Keep your marketing campaigns to one or two major social media platforms. Break your social media channels into social platforms versus social networking sites. Connect to influencers. Influencers are active on social networks and spend time sharing and blogging. You may need to give away content and perks to get their influencers to endorse your company. Once you have found an influencer on a social networking site, you will gain more likes and comments, followers, Tweets, and “join-me.”
