Thecuffchic etsy was born
and open for business.
The name was a challenge... The first
name I wrote down was “Mother
Cuffer” which wasn’t a perfect fit
for obvious reasons. As a mom with
three kids, I wanted a brand name
that represented a good and positive
image. So I wrote down a gazillion
names through the day. Later writing
down the cuff girl. Then I started
writing down words I wanted my
brand to represent...Family.
I wanted a “chic” one of a kind brand
no one else had and wanted it to
represent your one-of-a-kind style. I
wrote down Thecuffchic and this time
I loved it!! Appearance is everything
and I wanted to create a brand that
when you saw it, you would know and
recognize it starting from the name to
the bags, tags, & every detail.
I created my brand as a representation
of my own personal style. Unique and
one-of-a-kind, just like God created
everyone of us to be!!
I wanted to personalize every detail
from beginning to end. That’s why I
started handstamping every letter on
my cuff bags, to give them that wonky
handmade look. I handstamped every
letter on every bag, tag + metals.
Giving them each a personalized
meaning and representation of me my
own life “imperfectly perfect”.
The time it took to stamp each + every
letter didn’t matter to me, in fact it was
relaxing. And loved it all. In creating
my kids love to help and often ask if
they can help stamp and cut the belts.
They are the most happy when they
can help. They have been a part of
the Cuffchic from the very beginning
and I want them to look back and
think, ”My Mom was helping me grow
+ teaching me the values” and they
played a role in our business!!

As time passed Thecuffchic was
growing and often times my husband
would see me stamping each
individual letter on my bags. He
would ask me “what I’m doing and
why don’t I have a business stamp?”
So he set out to find one online
to make stamping go a lot faster..
because time = $!! Right?!!
What Lights Me Up
I want to personalize it from every
detail about the person placing the
order. I love the whole process. I can
put anything on it and it will honor
whatever or whoever they want. I
know that will inspire them from the
beginning to the end. If you can
bring a little bit of hope it means
everything.
I enjoy it all! I use inspirational words,
phrases, dates or whatever it may
be that a person wants. To create a
one of a kind personalized cuff that
will inspire people to Live Life on
Purpose!!
Boss Babe and Leader
I’ve never looked at myself as being
a leader until Thecuffchic. When you
wear the “creative hat” in all areas
of your business it can make you feel
like a leader. To give hope in a sense
is being a leader.
It’s about embracing the broken and
creating something beautiful. Finding
beauty in the broken . Be your own
person no matter what. Embrace
what God gave you and the sunshine
will shine out of your face. The
people you have met will influence
you in some way..
