MAREN MORRIS
Age: 25
Based: Nashville
What you should know: She has written songs for Tim McGraw (Last Turn Home) and Kelly Clarkson (Second Wind), but now
the Texas native with booming vocals is shaking up Nashville as a singer. Named an "artist to watch" this year by Spotify and SiriusXM
and one of the "next women of country" by CMT, Morris reached the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart with her self-titled EP,
which has tallied 10 million Spotify streams since November. She opened shows for Chris Stapleton and Loretta Lynn last fall and will
hit the road this month with Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley.
TROYE SIVAN
Age: 20
Based: Perth, Australia
What you should know: Few pop
acts in recent memory have had the viral
success of this introspective Australian
singer, who got his start on YouTube
when he was 13, where he has amassed
3.8 million subscribers and 230 million
views since 2007. Sivan, who is openly
gay and incorporates LGBT themes
into his videos, received his biggest
endorsement yet from Taylor Swift last
fall, when she tweeted and posted about
his Wild EP on Instagram. He has since
made his late-night debut performing on
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
and released his debut album, Blue
Neighbourhood, which he will support on
a nearly sold-out U.S. tour this winter.

On the water, he's #17 NPAA. When he was on the
ice for the Chicago Blackhawks he was the same number! Coincidence? Actually yes. Crazy coincidence.
41 year old Mike Peluso, who was born in Bismarck, ND was a star on both the professional walleye
circuit and professional hockey. Back in those days,
as Peluso puts it, "I've got the best job a person could
ever ask for!" This local sports star is now turning into
a radio star with a passionate podcast/weekly show
that will air on URL Radio twice a week.
As a hockey player, Peluso has always been on the
move, graduating from the University of Duluth in 1998
where he was voted the senior athlete of the year by
the student body. Known for his shooting and stick
handling abilities, Peluso was drafted by the Calgary
Flames of the National Hockey League in 1994. In
1999, he was in both the National Hockey
League and the American Hockey League.
Mike was named to the 2000, 2002 and
2003 AHL All-Star team.
At the same time, Peluso started fishing
on the NAWA circuit. He finished in the top
15 in all events fished for his first two years
on the NAWA. Fishing has encompassed 35
plus years of his life, with the past 10 years
spent fishing more local tournaments and
guiding full time on the entire Missouri River
system. In addition to the top finishes on the
NAWA, he also had 5 top 10 finishes on the
PWT. He’s won the KFYR classic in North
Dakota 4 times, and
today you will find him
always in contention at
winning no matter what
event he finds himself
fishing.
Peluso’s fishing
history includes a long
line of tournaments
both Pro and regional,
with a large number
of articles written for
some on line e-zines
and the Dakota Country magazine and Fish-
ing the Midwest.
We’re excited to bring Peluso’s expertise and passion for the outdoors to URL Radio. His show will air
Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Thursdays at 3 p.m. It
will be a half hour show that will also be available as
a podcast on YouTube so you can download it if you
missed it. If you want to know the best places to fish,
fishing tips and tricks, hunting, lodges, tours, lures,
bait, gear, campfire cooking, great local restaurants
on or near the water, everything Missouri River, Lake
Oahe, Lake Sakakawea, and so much more! He’ll be
interviewing numerous fellow experts and taking questions.
If you’re interested in being a sponsor or a guest or
if you want to submit a questions to Peluso, call 701751-0838 or email
[email protected].
